Mr. J P Minda graced wings of realization to his ambitious brainchild, JPM Group, to help it attain the shape and form of a multifarious business conglomerate. The Group took off by successfully producing quality-driven automotive components to its clients.
The clients were more than impressed with JPM Group’s signature approach of impeccable quality and timely delivery of its consignments. A cyclic process of increasing clients, consignments and the scope of services ensued that resulted in OEM Business with Hindustan Motors.
JPM Group’s success wave was swelling and strengthening at a rapid pace. Furthermore, the OEM business with Hindustan Motors was beginning to capture market shares. In the wake of increasing market opportunities, this called for the commencement of OEM Business with Fiat and Bajaj Tempo.
JPM Group had successfully placed itself among India’s preferred business houses and sensing it was the time for consolidating its market position.
Mr J P Minda sensed the opportunity of entering into a Joint Venture with a Japanese company to deliver even better quality driven products to all its clients. As a result, Jay Ushin was incorporated which was a result of an Indo-Japanese venture banking on the significance of Indian manpower and Japanese technology.
It was an eventful year in the history of JPM Group. This year saw the inception of JPM Tools Ltd and a new plant of Jay Ushin Ltd besides an ISO Certification that was awarded to Jay Ushin Ltd by TUV of Germany.
Riding on the success wave of his Indo-Japanese ventures, Mr. J P Minda resolved to enter into another fruitful association with the Japanese this time too. Consequently, he constituted JNS Instruments Limited in Joint Venture with Nippon Seiki Co. Limited (Japan) to further procure various quality-driven automotive parts.
It was the most suitable time for JPM Group to think beyond Automotive instruments and clusters. JPM Group incorporated another arm of business to cater specifically to procure standardized Die Casting parts. This new company came to be known as JPM Automobiles.
Consistent quality and hard work always pay off. It was the time for three of JPM Group companies, viz., Ju-Shin and JNS Instrument to be accredited with TS : 16949 standard.
Anu Industries had become the frontrunner of the business by now and it was apt to consider giving it a much needed boost in form of another plant. Hence Manesar Plant of Anu Industries came into being to cater to an ever-growing market demand concerning Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical automotive parts.
This year saw one of JPM Group’s biggest expansions in last decade. First the Group established Jay Ushin’s Manesar Plant and then went ahead to establish Jay Auto Components’ plant in Pune. They respectively cater to Automotive products and Automotive Assembly parts, among many other services.
In JPM Group, expansions were on a roll. The latest that happened in this year saw the establishment of Khandsa Plant of Jay Auto Components Limited, followed by JPM Group’s entry in the business of making batteries with the brand ‘Ace’ and at last, JNS Instruments Limited’s Haridwar Plant was too successfully established.
This year saw the incorporation of Jay Ace Technologies Limited at Roorkee, establishment of Jay FE Cylinders Limited (in a Japanese collaboration of JFE Containers and Marubeni Automotive) besides an establishment of Jay Nikki Industries Limited (in a Japanese Joint Venture with Nikki Co. Limited and Marubeni Automotive).
This year saw the rise of Jay Auto’s Automated Paint Shop, JNJ Electronics’ SMT Production and incorporation of JPM Renewable Energy Limited to address and tap various market resources.
India saw one of its biggest Automotive plants being put forward by Mr. J P Minda this year to further his vision of bettering his stronghold in the marketplace. This new plant was designed for JPM Automobiles Limited at Chennai.
JPM Group established its Energy Meter Plant for Jay Auto Components, constituted Jay Iber Private Limited in Technical Assistance with its Spanish Partner Iber Medior and then opened Jay Ushin Limited’s Khandsa Plant for operations this year.
JPM Group had been on a happy expansion spree ever since 1998 and the last one to happen in this year was that of a Bengaluru Plant for Jay Ushin Limited to further its production of a multitude of Automotive parts for its clientele.
This year saw JPM Group establishing JJFC Pvt Ltd in Delhi to manufacture Wheel Alloys and
doing Pressure Die Casting, besides manufacturing of other electrical equipments for its clientele.
JPM Group prefers the innovative technology of LEDs for a variety of home and commercial
products. The Group is also producing e- Rickshaws as an alternative to traditional auto-rickshaws.
